Yawning Position
The yawning position is a variation of the most common sexual position, the missionary position. This position was mentioned twice in the Kama Sutra though, with the second mention giving a slight variation in terms of the woman’s leg position. The main difference with this position is that the man kneels in front of the woman before penetrating her.
STEP 1
Woman’s Position
In the first variation, the woman draws her legs up and outward until they are almost fully extended and widespread in the air as the intensity and speed of the man’s thrusting motion increases.
In the second variation of the position, the woman lies flat, pulls her knees into her breasts and positions her feet over the shoulders of her partner.
STEP 2
Man’s Position and Instruction for Penetration
The man kneels in front of her and enters her.
STEP 3
Instruction for Movement
The variation would skew the woman’s pelvis and enables the man to stimulate her ovary on one side.
TIPS
- With the yawning position, the man’s urge to thrust is given full reign. The man, moreover, may get additional arousal from his position, as he can clearly and easily see their connected genitalia, which allows him to watch his penis thrusting and stroking into the woman. For some men, this may produce an urge to orgasm quickly and powerfully. For the woman, there aren’t any avenues for additional arousal.
WARNINGS
- Since the ovaries may be tender for some women, the man should be careful and slower in penetrating. This position allows for deep penetration, so the vagina should be sufficiently lubricated. This will avoid any pain for the woman.
